Kun Shan University was established in 1965, known as Kun Shan Institute of Technology located in Yung Kang City, southern Taiwan, a city with beautiful natural scenery. The University's mission is to "to maintain an international vision along with high educational standards with a view to integrate both a technological education and the humanities in order to develop innovative technical professionals".
The university has 5 colleges: College of Engineering, College of Business and Management, College of Creative Media, College of Information Technology, College of Humanities. Beside that, the University also has International College and General Education Center and 13 other affiliated units.
