Vietnam – Laos Gala
On December 3, 2010 night, in Hall 10-12, VNU Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in cooperation with the Central Vietnam Student Association has organized the Student Gala between Vietnam and Laos.

This is one of many practical activities to celebrate 48 years of diplomatic relations in Vietnam - Laos, 35 years anniversary National Day Republic Democratic of Laos, Vientiane to celebrate 450 years old Round and it is also an opportunity for over 400 students of two national exchanges to learn and help develop the traditional friendship between the two countries.

Speaking at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Vu Minh Giang - Vice President of VNU has shared: April 2009, at the hall 10/12, General Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Chairman of the Democratic Republic Lao People Chummaly Xaynhaxon and his wife led a delegation to visit and interact with officials and students VNU. In the emotional meeting that he had expressed his feelings for the Party, State and people of Vietnam, including offering VNU help train high-quality human resources for Laos. Under the guidance of Comrade General Secretary, VNU had the meeting with Mr. Xomxavat Lenhxavat - Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of the Lao Government and the direct exchange of content. Currently, the scheme is preparing to be deployed and has shown special affection for the country of Laos VNU. Prof. Dr. Vu Minh Giang wishes the relationship between the two countries wished Vietnam - Laos would become even stronger; the two countries would be increasingly youthful happiness and success.

In the framework of the Gala, Ms. Sun thon Xaynhachac - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao in Vietnam and Mr. Vu Thanh Mai - Member of the Standing Ho Chi Minh Youth Union, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Vietnam Student Association have had speeches to uphold the friendship, solidarity and good traditional comprehensive cooperation between the two Parties and the State and the two peoples of Laos and Vietnam, where President Ho Chi Minh and President Kayson Phomvihan, the beloved founder, had nurtured, maintained.

Ms. Xaynhachac Sun thon has stressed that there are many ties of friendship between nations but enduring friendship, and community commitment suffering. Thus, the two peoples in general, the younger generation of the two countries in particular, must continue to preserve and promote the traditional relations and special solidarity.
