With the goal of becoming a comprehensive multi-disciplinary training and research center, VNU has a special interest in the cooperation model between university with institutions and enterprises. As a result, VNU has established and enhanced cooperation with numerous local, regional as well as international partners. The ceremony marks a new phase in the partnership between VNU and UOB toward the mutual goal of development and prosperity.
At the working place, Prof.Dr. Nguyen Huu Duc stresses that over the past years, following the orientation to become a leading research, technological and scientific transference, undergraduate and graduate training in Vietnam, VNU has continuously extended the cooperation with the outstanding universities, the big enterprises and groups of the developed countries including Singapore. He also expresses that the Interest – free loan for students has promoted the learners to complete their dreams.
Also, Mr. Thng Tien Tat – Executive Director, Regional manager Vietnam & Myanmar states that he is very delighted to be the VNU’s partner in this program. UOB has offered this loan program to 656 university students. This program will assist students to complete their study at universities and relieve the financial burden of their parents and the society. In addition, he expresses that UOB supports students not only finance but also promoting the students’ understanding about their need and aspiration to be the useful citizens who can promote the social development.
