VNU University of Economics and Business was responsible for the researches, evaluation and publication of this annual review in collaboration with M&A Vietnam Forum.
With the aim to contribute to the M&A development in Vietnam, under the cooperation with M&A Vietnam Forum, a research and evaluation program was implemented, followed by the publication of the annual Vietnam M&M Review. Accordingly, the program would provide a summary report on M&A activities in Vietnam, reviewing the macro elements and environmental conditions affecting the M&A transactions, examining the M&A activities and evaluating the current trend and prospect of M&A activities in the following year.
Vietnam M&A Review 2011-2012 focused on the topic “Creating synergies”. This publication was a collection of researches and analysis on the overall picture of M&A in Vietnam as well as its main characteristics. Also, many knowledge, experiences, analysis, comments and personal judgements on specific commercial affairs could be found in this publication. The authors attempted to provide the state management organizations, investors, enterprises and other organizations/individuals with the most comprehensive analysis, information and experience on M&A activities during the year and forecast the changes in the following year.
