Working with Australia’s Trade Commissioner

In the afternoon of October 5, 2012, VNU Vice President, Prof.Dr.Sc. Vũ Minh Giang had a meeting with Australia’s Trade Commissioner, Mrs. Elodie Journer to exchange information about VNU’s model, training and research programs as well as students in order to set suitable orientation for its cooperation with Australian partners.
According to Prof.Dr.Sc. Vũ Minh Giang, VNU is striving for international standards, which has put the development of international cooperation to the top priority. At the meeting, the Vice President made introduction on VNU with focus on some researches on climate change and sustainable science that were being implemented by VNU. He expected to expand cooperation with Australian universities in training and research.
Mrs. Elodie Journer informed that Australia would invite some professors and experts to give lectures in Vietnam in the near future. The contents, time and schedule of which would be discussed further with Vietnamese universities. Besides, Australian government would offer many scholarships to Vietnamese students.
