VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU USSH) broadens cooperation with Aix Marseille University (France) and Campinas University (Brazil) in Psychology training
On March 31, 2015, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Quang Minh (VNU USSH Vice Rector) welcomed and had a working session with Prof. Guy Gimenez (Aix Marseille University – France) and Prof. Mario Pereira (Campinas University – Brazil) on trilateral cooperation in Psychology research and training.

 

Introducing VNU USSH to the partners, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phạm Quang Minh said that USSH, one of VNU’s member institutions, was targeted to become a research-oriented university. In its development process, VNU USSH wished to cooperate with international partners and to receive support from them through interdisciplinary research and training programs in various fields, especially lecturer, student exchange programs and joint research projects.

 

 

According to Prof. Marcio Pereira, Campinas University wishes to implement joint research programs in different areas of psychology such as Domestic violence, Psychotherapy, Psychopathology, Psychoanalysis and particularly, Agent Orange victims. Specifically, Aix Marseille University and Campinas University will sign a memorandum of cooperation, form an international research group in the field of psychology in general and psychotherapy in particular, and organize scientific workshops for the three parties’ scholars to exchange experience in research and training. This would be a practical contribution to the psychology and psychotherapy sector in Vietnam.
