VNU and Monash University: Development Cooperation in Training, Staff and Student Exchange
On March 11, 2016, VNU Standing Vice President Nguyễn Kim Sơn welcomed and had a working session with Ms Hoa Levitas – Senior Regional Admission Manager of Monash University (Australia).

 

     The two sides discussed the prospects of cooperation in training, faculty and student exchange between the two universities. 

    According to VNU Standing Vice President Nguyễn Kim Sơn, VNU and Monash University have been in partnership since 1994. He proposed a number of VNU’s cooperative priorities with Monash University in the coming time, such as Monash University’s competitive academic programs; academic programs that are currently unavailable in Vietnam, especially the interdisciplinary ones. The Vice President also advised that aiming to become a highly integrative, multidisciplinary and research-oriented university, VNU focused on cooperation with foreign organizations in developing international joint training programs.

 

 

    Ms Hoa Levitas appreciated the cooperation programs between the two universities over the past years and said that Monash University would further support VNU in training, research, staff and student exchange.

 

    Monash University is a public higher education institution in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Established in 1958, Monash University is the second oldest university in the state. Monash University offers a broad selection of innovation-responsive majors within 10 faculties, including 75 research ones. Students can choose from 6,000 subjects of 240 pre-university, undergraduate and graduate courses.
