On this occasion, under the witness of Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc and German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries, VNU signed agreements with German universities and enterprises on the implementation of the Compact and Robust Medium Wind Turbine (CART) Project.

With a high scientific-technological and socio-economic value and as a contribution to the improvement, protection and friendliness to the environment, the implementation of the CART project will promote the development of a clean and sustainable energy sector in Vietnam as well as demonstrate the Government's interest in sustainable socio-economic development, in accordance with the international conventions on climate change.

"Vietnam is reforming and creating a best legal environment for both domestic and international investors," the Prime Minister affirmed and proposed Germany, as a major economy, the most influential member of the EU and an activist in global multilateral forums and organizations, to be a trusted friend of Vietnam, helping to draw international attention and resources to Vietnam's sustainable development projects, especially those in the fields of mechanical engineering, automation, vocational training and higher education. The Prime Minister noted that Germany’s technology and governance experience would help Vietnam quickly advance in the context of Industrial Revolution 4.0.

As part of the working visit to Germany, VNU will sign a comprehensive cooperation agreement with Rostock University (URO); and VNU University of Science will sign an agreement with Hamburg University of Applied Sciences.
