The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the issues for the Vietnamese legal system reform
On January 12, 2018, VNU School of Law held the scientific conference on “The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the issues for the Vietnamese legal system reform”.

The School of Law Deputy Head Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Thị Quế Anh said that the conference was an academic forum for experts, scientists and managers to share, discuss and present scientific recommendations to contribute to the improvement and reform of the Vietnamese legal system in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. She said that, in order to successfully respond to the challenges and make the most of the 4.0 revolution’s achievements, Vietnam needed to rapidly redesign its legal framework.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Thị Quế Anh said that the 4.0 revolution was an opportunity for Vietnam to speed up the process of industrialization and modernization and soon complete its goal of becoming an industrialized country oriented towards modernity. In the current context, there should be clear targets, approaches through various options, from economic restructuring, educational innovation and renewal of scientific and technological development in association with innovation, especially the development of a legal framework...

At the conference, experts and scientists presented their studies on: Revolution 4.0 and legal issues; Revolution 4.0 and the issues posed to specialized legal science areas; Revolution 4.0 and the issues for national governance and human rights.
