At the meeting, VNU’s graduate students presented and discussed their research results after receiving Toshiba scholarships in October, 2017. In addition to their new and innovative scientific topics practically meaningful to each individual and the community, the scholarship awardees demonstrated their fluency in English.
On behalf of VNU, Deputy Director of VNU Political-Students Affairs Department Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh sent her most sincere thanks to Toshiba Scholarship Foundation for providing VNU with meaningful scholarships as well as their continuous efforts in improving study and research conditions for VNU’s Master and doctoral students.
Over the past 10 years, VNU and Toshiba Scholarship Foundation have successfully organized 13 scholarship programs and scientific seminars. Two hundred and thirty VNU’s graduate students have been awarded the Toshiba scholarship amounting to about 20,000,000 JPY, equivalent to 4,300,000,000 VND.
