Strengthening cooperation with the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in the fields of press, communication, science and technology
On May 22, 2018, VNU President Nguyễn Kim Sơn and President of the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) Nguyễn Thế Kỷ signed a cooperation agreement for the 2018 – 2020 period.

This is the agreement preceded by the MoU signed on December 29, 2011.

The cooperation agreement between VNU and VOV aims at enhancing the cooperation and sharing experiences, bringing into full play the potentials and strengths of each party to solve practical problems in communication, developing human resources, scientific research and technology transfer for the socio-economic development, international integration as well as the development of each party.

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to cooperate in the following areas: human resources training, technology and knowledge transfer, communication, and image promotion.

Speaking at the ceremony, VNU President Nguyễn Kim Sơn said that VNU would offer some short-term or long-term training courses (undergraduate and graduate) in the fields of journalism and communication, broadcast engineering, automation, telecommunication, communication management, human resource management, foreign languages, etc. for VOV’s personnel. Besides, VNU’s experts and lecturers would provide professional support for VOV's programs in science, education, socio-economics, politics, and counseling for students.

In addition, the two institutions will co-organize national/international scientific conferences on relevant fields (media, telecommunication, broadcasting, etc.), develop common research topics and projects that meet the requirements of technological innovation, and share technical and information technology infrastructure to meet both parties’ needs.
