VNU President Nguyễn Kim Sơn will deliver a speech at the plenary session.

This is the fourth time CCHE APEC – a forum initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin, has been held within the Eastern Economic Forum  2018 (EEF) at FEFU on Russky Island, Vladivostok.

The CCHE APEC-2018 attracted the participation of about 100 participants, including scientists, university leaders, social activists, education managers, … to share experiences in university administration in an attempt to solve urgent issues in higher education cooperation, to build effective international cooperation programs, to attract investment as well as to promote the socio-economic development of the region.

During his working visit to Russia, VNU President Nguyễn Kim Sơn will attend the FEFU Science and Training Council open meeting and receive the FEFU Honorary Doctorate for his contributions to East Asian Studies and Educational cooperation development. He will present a number of view points on freedom in Asian philosophy at the meeting.

VNU will also sign an extension of the bilateral cooperation agreement with the FEFU in order to continue implementing effective cooperation programs, namely the training of Vietnamese Language and Culture for Russian students and the building of the Centre for cooperation and support for developing training programs in Vietnamese Studies, between the two sides.
