$2,000-worth ADF scholarship for 12 VNU’s entrance exam best candidates
On October 24, 2018, Asia Development Foundation, Korea (ADF) awarded 12 VNU’s entrance exam best candidates scholarships, each valued $2,000.

According to the agreement between VNU and ADF signed on July 11, 2018, these students will continue to receive the scholarship until graduation, provided that they achieve the overall yearly study results from 3.2 credit points and over.

VNU Political-Students Affairs Department Deputy Director Nguyễn Thị Hồng Hạnh said that VNU's leaders highly appreciated the humanitarian values ​​and practical meanings of ADF scholarships for VNU’s students through the ADF scholarship program. This scholarship would help excellent students complete their dreams; motivate them in studying and practicing; be a very meaningful reward for VNU’s 2018 entrance exam best candidates.

Expressing her impression about VNU’s excellent students, Mrs. Cho Hyei Young - Business Director, Cobione Group, ADF’s representative, hoped that the scholarships would motivate the students to overcome difficulties for better learning and more contribution to society. She also stated that the ADF was planning to cooperate with VNU in many other programs in the future, such as the training of Vietnamese Korean nationals at VNU.

Bùi Thị Hồng, a student of VNU School of Law QH-2018 Intake shared that scholarships such as the ADF scholarship, were the leverage that encouraged students - a young generation who were always seeking comprehensive development and dedication to society, on the path of knowledge.

She also shared, in addition to using the scholarship for study, she would spend a part of it to help children with blood cancer at the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion as well as to carry out a number of student projects on children's rights.
