Speaking at the meeting, RUDN Vice Rector Efremova Larisa Ivanovna congratulated VNU on the 25th anniversary of the Government's issuance of the Decree on VNU (10/12/1993 - 10/12/2018). She expressed her desire to expand cooperative activities with VNU in depth through the implementation of joint training programs, exchanging lecturers and experts in the fields of mutual interest.

VNU Vice President Nguyen Huu Duc affirmed his determination to promote cooperation effectiveness with the universities of the Russian Federation in general and with RUDN in particular, especially in the context that 2019 had been agreed on as Vietnam-Russia Friendship Year.

Based on the 2010 cooperation agreement, together with short and medium term lecture, official and scientist exchanges; undergraduate and graduate exchanges; and   promotion of research cooperation in the fields of mutual interest..., VNU Vice President Nguyen Huu Duc suggested that VNU and RUDN prioritize cooperation activities in aerospace and hi-tech agriculture. He hoped that, with the cooperation and support from RUDN leading experts in these fields, VNU could develop its intensive research orientation as well as implement applied research and training projects.

Appreciating the proposals of the VNU Vice President, Vice Rector Efremova Larisa Ivanovna said that RUDN would encourage its experts to work with VNU experts on these two areas to discuss a specific cooperation plan.
