| On June 18, 2019, VNU President Nguyễn Kim Sơn awarded VNU Remembrance Medals to the Russian Federation Ambassador to Vietnam Konstantin Vnukov and Director of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture in Hanoi Natalia V. Shafinskaya for their valuable contributions to the promoting of good friendship and cooperation between VNU and Russian universities and research institutes in particular and between the two countries in general, in science and technology, training and developing high quality human resources.
