The other medalists include Hoang Minh Trung, a 12th grader from Lam Son High School for the Gifted (Thanh Hoa Province) - the silver medalist; Duong Tung Lam, a 12th grader from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted (Nghe An province) and Hoang Thi Huyen Trang from Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted (Phu Tho province) - the bronze medalists.
The 30th International Biology Olympiad, held in Szeged, Hungary, attracted the participation of 285 contestants from 75 countries and territories.
