INFOINVENT 2019 attracted the participation of 30 countries from Asia, Europe and the Americas, with 450 inventions in all fields of science and technology. Three hundred inventions were awarded with 140 gold medals, 80 silver medals and 80 bronze medals.

Two students from VNU UED High School of Education Sciences and 3 students from VNU HUS High School for Gifted Students attended this event with two inventions on environmental issues of the world’s current concern. This is an opportunity for VNU high school students to present their results of research, study and exchange of experience, in order to improve the quality of high school scientific research.

Both VNU high school students’ inventions: "Kinetics, isotherms and the mechanism of adsorption of toxic metal ions from activated carbon waste water denatured with amine function group" and "Biodegradation of polyethylene films by oxidizing catalysts" won the Gold Medal.

This achievement once again affirms the scientific research advantages of high school students within universities, especially Vietnam National University, Hanoi – A leading scientific research and training institution in Vietnam.
