A young Doctor of Science with international papers honoured by Forbes Vietnam
On February 3, 2020, Forbes Vietnam released the list of the 2020 30 under 30 most distinguished Vietnamese youth faces including Dr. Tran Quoc Quan, a member of a VNU’s strong research group, honoured for his outstanding achievements in the field of Education - Science in Vietnam.

Dr. Tran Quoc Quan, an alumnus and lecturer of VNU University of Engineering and Technology, has been listed as one of the 30 young people, contributing creative efforts to the innovating of education and training through his scientific research works.

Born in 1990, Dr. Tran Quoc Quan was the 2012 valedictorian of VNU University of Engineering and Technology. With excellent academic records, Tran Quoc Quan was transferred directly to a doctoral degree program (skipping a master’s degree) in August 2013 and employed as a lecturer of the university.

To date, Dr. Quan has been the author and co-author of 24 papers (all written in Vietnam) published in prestigious SCI/ SCIE journals and has his Google Scholar h-index of 15.

As a doctoral student, Tran Quoc Quan was presented with the Nguyen Van Dao Award, Vietnam’s most prestigious award in the field of Mechanics, in 2016.
