The competition aims to further improve the quality of training, bridging theory and practice by means of exploring domestic and international economic, cultural and social knowledge. It also creates a playground for students to discuss and understand each other. Shining with FIBE was held by the Faculty of International Business and Economics, VNU University of Economics and Business. This is a annual event attracting dozens of teams from economic universities in Hanoi.

Attending the event, there were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Mai - Chairman of the Student Union, Ms. Tran Thi Huong - Deputy Secretary of Youth Union; Dr. Nguyen Cam Nhung, Associate Dean of FIBE and a number of faculty members.

This year, the competition attracted nearly 30 teams - the largest number since its first organized. The theme of this year was "Comprehensive and progressive partnership agreement across Pacific" is considered a hot and influential topic.

"Shining with FIBE 2019" finale was held with 3 rounds: Talent, Puzzle and Case study. In the first round, the teams gave impressive art performances such as singing, dancing, aerobics, acting, etc. Round 2 and round 3 were more exciting with intellectual questions in many fields, especially questions about the main topic of the competition.

Through 3 rounds of the competition, the team of Vu Ngoc Bao, Nguyen Cong Dieu Phuong and Tran Thuy Linh from QH-2017-E KTQT CLC 2 (Winter Triangle) won the first prize with valuable awards from the Organizing Committee and the sponsors. Besides, the audience in the finale had chances to join mini games and receive gifts from the organizing committee.
