ULIS students win the writing competition on European Cultural Heritage
On March 4th, 2019, ULIS-VNU held the awarding ceremony of the writing competition about the European Union that took place in 2018 under the theme “European Cultural Heritage – A global value for everyone “. ULIS student Nguyen Ngoc Thanh Phuong won a trip to Europe.

Attending the award ceremony were representatives of government agencies, diplomatic agencies, embassies, organizers, sponsors, and universities. On the side of ULIS, Vice President Ngo Minh Thuy, Representative of the Politics & Students Affairs Office, Management Board of the Faculty of French Language & Culture and more than 100 students attended the ceremony.

In his opening remarks, journalist Nguyen Huy Loc – Editor-in-Chief of Vietnam Student Newspaper / Co-Chair of the contest expressed his joy on the quality of the entries.

Mr. Tom Corrie – Deputy Head of the European Union Delegation in Vietnam also praised the diversity of topics and the quality of articles of the contests. He hoped that more and more young Vietnamese would participate in future competitions.

During the ceremony, the organizers awarded 5 prizes as European tours for 5 candidates.
