The portal is established by ULIS with the purpose of providing revision materials and practices for high school students in order for them to have a better preparation for the National High School Exam in English.

The ceremony was attended by President Do Tuan Minh, representatives of departments, representatives of the Communication and Media Board for Student Admission in 2019, ULIS ambassadors and 12-grade students of Foreign Language Specialized School (FLSS).

At the beginning of the ceremony, Director of the Personnel Organization Office read the decision on establishing the Management Board of the Portal.

Addressing at the ceremony, President Do Tuan Minh emphasized that “being cherished and desired, the Portal for English National High School Exam Preparation is a matter of urgent requirement for ULIS – a university specializing in research, training and teaching of foreign languages. ULIS, thus, is also giving special attention to the support for community beside concentrating on training and scientific research. Among them, the provision of a Portal for English National High School Exam Preparation is a goal that ULIS wants to quickly accomplish in order to partly meet the needs of community and provide learners nationwide with access to revision materials of the same quality. Notably, ULIS would like to provide 10,000 free accounts for students to assist their study…”.

In the next part of the ceremony, the delegates and students witnessed the opening ceremony of the portal and the provision of 10,000 free accounts for representatives of 12-grade students.

At the end of the ceremony, 12-grade students and teachers had a chance to directly interact with the portal for examination preparation. Students all collectively expressed their excitement upon gaining access to a decent, complete and updated source of materials in the portal: ulistogether.vn.
