Cooperation opportunities with Keuka College
On December 16, VNU-IS hosted a meeting with Vice President for Enrollment Management and Student Development, Mr. Mark Petrie and Dean of International Programs – Asia, Mr. Gary Giss, Keuka College, USA.

At the meeting, the parties discussed the recruitment status of the Bachelor of Science in Management (BSM) program in 2019. With 47 students recruited in Fall 2019, the BSM program continues to hold its place in the market despite the ongoing changes in the demand of Vietnamese students and employers.

Both sides also discussed the recruitment plan for the next cohorts, including the 1st cohort of the dual degree program to start in 2020, and came up with interesting ideas such as: offering scholarships/financial aids for the 1st cohort, producing marketing products to promote Keuka program at VNU-IS, organizing alumni meetings, a start-up contest for students, etc.

Keuka College was founded in 1890 as a private educational institution and located on the shore of Keuka Lake in New York State’s Finger Lakes region. Keuka College offers Bachelor and Master degree programs on campus, across much of Central and Western New York State, as well as international programs in China and Vietnam. Ranked 119th in Regional Universities North (USNews ranking 2019) and 601-800th worldwide (THE Rankings 2018), it currently has about 600 staff and lecturers, over 4,000 students, among whom 2,094 are international students. Regardless of degree or location, Keuka College graduates boast significant, real-world experience that impresses employers and graduate schools.

The meeting was closed with the anticipation of a potential cooperation of the all sides in the upcoming time.
