VNU UEB and Hue College of Economics MOU signing ceremony

In the morning of July 19th, 2020, a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Economics and Business - VNU (UEB) and Hue College of Economics - Hue University (HCE) was signed at the Century hotel, 49 Le Loi Street, Hue City. This is the result of the connection between the Alumni Association of the UEB with the HCE.

Attending the signing ceremony, there was Mr. Phan Thien Dinh - Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Hue City and PhD. Nguyen Cong Hao - Head of Training and Student Affairs Department of Hue University. From Hue College of Economics - Hue University (HCE), there were Assoc.Prof.PhD. Tran Van Hoa - Rector; PhD. Phan Thanh Hoan - Head of Training Department; PhD. Pham Xuan Hung - Head of Science, Technology and International Cooperation Department.

From the UEB, there was Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Rector; Mr. Le Tu Minh - Chairman of Board of Directors and General Director of IMG Investment Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Alumni Association; Mr. Le Duy Anh - General Director of Xuan Hoa Company, Vice Chairman of Alumni Association and leaders of affiliated units, staff, lecturers and alumni of the university.

 At the signing ceremony, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Tran Van Hoa said that the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between VNU-UEB and HCE had marked an important milestone in promoting the capacities of both universities. Assoc.Prof.PhD. Tran Van Hoa emphasized that the signing of MOU between the two units will create a solid foundation to coordinate and support each other in all aspects in the future.

Accordingly, the two sides will recognize the training program and credits taken by exchange students. The student exchange program aims to create opportunities for students of the two universities to experience a diverse and multicultural environment, thus enhance the exchange of teaching and scientific research between the two sides.
