VNU – VJU: Japanese Ambassador visited and had a talk with staff and students

On October 1, 2020, the Ambassador of Japan to Viet Nam, Yamada Takio visited VJU and worked with the staff and students.

In his welcome speech, Prof. Furuta Motoo - VJU's Rector introduced about the training programs, lecturers and JICA experts who are participating in teaching and management at the school. With the mission of training high quality human resources for Viet Nam, Japan and the world, VJU currently offers 8 Master programs. This year, we are opening high-quality Bachelor in Japanese studies.

Ambassador Yamada Takio took office in Viet Nam from April 2020. According to the Ambassador, Viet Nam's economic development in recent years has attracted concerns from many countries and Japan as well. Before his visit to VJU, the Ambassador visited many places in Viet Nam, industrial zones, factories... and was impressed by the country development. The Ambassador said that Viet Nam really needs high quality human resources to join in the development process and appreciated VJU's efforts in recent years.

Ambassador Yamada Takio did recieve questions and thanks from lecturers and students. He also visited VJU campus and meet students in their class as well.
