Development cooperation – future vision
VNU is proud of a worldwide network of cooperation with more than 400 partners, including prestigious universities, research institutes and educational institutions, such as the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), ASEAN University Network (AUN), University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP), etc.

Annually, VNU sends thousands of its staff and students abroad for research, teaching, study and academic exchange as well as attracts international experts to teach and research at VNU.

Development cooperation activities create a platform to promote research, training and cultural exchange, as well as to transfer knowledge on a global scale.

As one of VNU’s core development strategies, domestic research and training cooperation programs and projects have been effectively implemented through the school-business-locality cooperation model in an attempt to put research results into practice, contributing to the solving of problems facing localities and businesses.

Paying special attention to the development of VNU, the leaders of the Party and State have regularly visited VNU and listened to its scientists and staff’s expectations and shared their difficulties.  This has helped to realize VNU’s will and spirit into new solutions, new creative endeavours.

Sharing the same values and ideals in scientific activities, many world-famous scientists and politicians have visited and contributed their efforts to the development of VNU in particular and Vietnam's educational science in general.
