On October 16th and 17th, 2020, the Kick-off event for start-up competition “Business Challenge Season 5” were held by VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and Friedrich Naumann Foundation Vietnam (FNF). This is a two-day-event, announcing the launching of “Business Challenge Season 5” to businesses, taking place at Thung Nham Resort, Ninh Binh Province.

Attending the event, from VNU University of Economics and Business, there were Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le - Rector, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu - Vice Rector, from FNF Vietnam, there were Mr. Andreas Stoffers - Country Director; PhD. Pham Hung Tien - Vice Director.

Especially, the kick-off welcomed many entrepreneurs, business owners and managers.

Speaking at the event, Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Truc Le said, this is the fifth season of the competition. Each year, its scale gets bigger, attracting a large number of participants and spreading the start-up spirit among students.

On the next day, Vice Rector of the UEB and Head of the Organizing Committee - Assoc.Prof.PhD. Nguyen Anh Thu said: The competition is an important event of the UEB, serve as a playground for young people to experience and learn from the mentors as well as realizing their dream of starting a business. Through all those year of organizations, many winners of the competition have successfully implemented their projects. She hoped that the business community will strongly support the students with their project.

The meeting was attended by a large number of businesses

Mr. Andreas Stoffers - Country Director of FNF Vietnam said: This is a large-scale startup competition, attracting many businesses. The competition supports dreams and start-up ideas of many young people and realizing it. I hope that this year's competition will attract a large number of participants.
