Towards the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation (former Soviet Union), 65 years teaching Russian language at VNU and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Russian World Reading Room in Hanoi, the Vietnam-Russian Federation Friendship Association at VNU and the International School – VNU organized the International Conference “70 years of cooperation between Vietnam and Russia on education and science.

At the opening ceremony of the conference, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Vietnam awarded certificates of merit to the Faculty of Russian Language and Culture for its contributions in the past decades in promoting and teaching Russian language in Vietnam. This is the pride of the Faculty as well as of the University in general.

In addition, the faculty and students of the Faculty were honored to support the organizers to hold the international conference “70 years of cooperation between Vietnam and Russia on education and science”.
