Science and technology products recognized and transferred

Conducted during the 2013-2020 period, the activities within the national key S&T program named "Science and Technology for sustainable development in the Northwest" completed and helped the localities change their perceptions of and perspectives on the application of science and technology, which was a breakthrough in the local socio-economic development. The program’s activities also improved the cooperative relations between VNU, scientists, science and technology organizations and businesses with the localities. In addition to the provision of scientific evidence, the Program gained several other specific results in applying science and technology to the improvement of the value of products, commodities and comprehensive development models.

The manuscript of the Vietnamese History Collection (the National History Collection) has been presented to the Ministry of Science and Technology. The manuscript of the Vietnamese History Collection comprising 25 volumes of general history and 5 volumes of event chronicles is the result of implementing the National-level Social Sciences project named "Compiling Vietnamese History Collection" by nearly 300 scientists since 2014. Sixteen out of the 30 volumes of the manuscript has involved the participation of VNU’s scientists as either chairmen, editors-in-chief or co-editors-in-chief; 10 other volumes are chaired by VNU’s member units.

At the launching ceremony of the National Data Portal, representatives of concerned ministries, state agencies and VNU signed a memorandum of cooperation in promoting open data, operating and completing the National Data Portal. This is the evidence of State agencies’ commitment to the implementation of data management activities, providing open data to the community and society, and at the same time demonstrating the cohesion and companionship between State agencies, organizations and enterprises in promoting open data deployment.

The Materials and Construction Inspection Laboratory is VNU’s first laboratory recognized by the authorized State agencies as a national-standard laboratory for materials and construction testing. The Materials and Construction Inspection Laboratory is under Vietnam - Japan University and professionally chaired by the University’s Infrastructure Engineering Program.
