11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
The thesis provides a systematic basis on issues of theories and development of epic genres in international literature in general and Vietnamese modern literature in particular.
The thesis points out the specific versification of Vietnamese modern epic, shows the role, history and sociality of this genre in cultural flows.
The thesis describes general the development phase of epic, puts epic in the process of developing their own genres to see the inner development, the basis of society and the interference of the genres in its systemization.
The thesis contributes to affirm the value of some works that so far little is mentioned.

The thesis can be used as reference in teaching and scientific research in the literature research.

Study the development trend of the epic in contemporary literature.
Research on new theory of literary theory.
