- The thesis is considered the first systematic study on the urban water demand side management in Vietnam.
- It initially develop scientific foundations for measures of urban water demand side management in Vietnam as a whole and particularly in Hue City.
- The thesis successfully applies the DPSIR Framework in a systematic approach of socio-economic and environmental aspects for the purposes of pointing out adverse impacts of increased urban water demand.
