11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- Contributing to clarifying fundamental theories on evaluation and testing of distance education and applying management science in the management of evaluation and testing for distance learning students.
- Assessing the reality of evaluation and testing at universities with distance education.
- Suggesting some management solutions to raise the quality and effectiveness of evaluation and testing management for distance education at Vietnam’s universities, feasible and suitable with the reality of distance education in Vietnam .
- Setting up reference as tool for management and assessment the work of those directly or indirectly involving in evaluation and testing on the basis of reality and theory of evaluation and testing management.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The results in the thesis are applicable in the management of evaluation and testing for distance education at universities in Vietnam at present, contributing to raising the quality of distance education in Vietnam
13. Further research directions, if any:
The up-to-date requirements of education reform and the findings of the thesis are the pre-conditions for the author to perfect and extend the research on evaluation and testing management for distance education in particular and part-time education in general.
