11. Summary of the new findings of the Thesis:

- Review and evaluate the current situation of researches on Investor-State Dispute Settlement Mechanism (ISDS Mechanism) in Vietnam and over the world and identify issues that need to be further studied in the Thesis.

- Clarify the theoretical aspects of the ISDS Mechanism, in which summarize the contents of modern theories on ISDS and the application in the world;

- Find out and generalize the models and movement of the ISDS Mechanism as well as its changes from time to time.

- Generalization of International Law on ISDS Mechanism and finding their movement in the context of globalization and international integration;

- Develop one more step in the studies of international practices on the investor-state dispute prevention and settlement, make the experiences of developing countries clearer, especially the countries have the similar conditions with Vietnam; and

- Review and compare the Vietnamese laws and practices with international laws and practices and then recommend improving international and Vietnamese laws on prevention and settlement of investor-state disputes.

12. Practical applicability, if any: The results of the Thesis are highly applicable in the improvement of international law and Vietnamese law on The Investor - State Dispute Settlement Mechanism.

13. Further research directions, if any:

- Continuing to study and propose the ways to improve the Law for Vietnam's accession to the Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes Between States and Nationals of Other States (ICSID Convention);

- Study the models of ISDS commitments of Vietnam, to ensure the interests of Vietnam.
