11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis

- Successfully applying the Fuzzy Logic Theory in the operation of the flood control multireservoir system in the Ba river basin, opens the prospect of applying this theory to other multireservoir systems in Vietnam, directed to operating the multireservoir system in real time.

- Using the model set up under the Fuzzy Logics, the existing problems in multireservoir operation rules for this basin have been analyzed as a basis for further study to improve the current multireservoir operation rules.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

- The management and research agencies can refer to the main findings of the thesis in studying the adjustment of multireservoir operation rules for flood control in Ba river basin.

- Applying research methods in the dissertation to study multireservoir operation rules for flood control in the Central river basins in Vietnam.

13. Further research directions, if any:

- Continuing to improve the methodology and software of simulation technology to operate the multireservoir system towards the real time.operation.
