11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

- The thesis systematically presents the process of leading the agricultural economy of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee from 1976 to 1996, analyzes the views and perceptions of the provincial Party Committee in seeking new directions.

- On the basis of clarification of achievements, limitations, causes of limitations, the thesis contributes to summarize the experiences of reference value for the present from the process of leading the agricultural economy of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee from 1976 to 1996.

-  The thesis is a reference material for the study and compilation of the history of the provincial Party Committee; the history of agriculture and rural development in Thai Binh province; at the same time, it is a reference material for the people who are interested in researching this topic.

Practical applicability, if any: After finishing, the thesis can be used as a reference material for the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Thai Binh Province to promulgate basic guidelines, policies and measures on agricultural economic sectors (cultivation, livestock) and the fishery economy (fishing, aquaculture and seafood processing) of the province.
