This is an activity within the framework of the Canadian Education Week which was held in Vietnam from October 24 to October 30, 2010 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Welcoming the delegation are Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Trong Quat - Deputy President of VNU and representatives of the Office, a number of functional units and training of VNU. Welcoming this remarkable visit of the delegation, Mr. Pham Trong Quat, emphasized that VNU was always eager to strengthen and develop the cooperative relationships with other Canadian educational institutions, particularly in the field of higher education, following universities and scientific research. Then, Ms. Moira Stilwell introduced general information about the institution of the province of British Columbia, Canada. Participating in this educational Week in Vietnam are 70 educational institutions of Canada, including the establishment of British Columbia 30. She appreciated the role of VNU in the national education system in Vietnam and expressed her desire to establish cooperation in the field of education between the two sides. Ms. Moira Stilwell expressed her honor to meet with representatives of the VNU unit to share information and experiences to develop cooperation in the future. Then, leadership of units of VNU and the representatives of the British Columbia educational institutions discussed content related to curriculum, tuition, housing, scholarships, jobs for students,… Nowadays in Canada have more than 100,000 students, foreign students studying in institutions of education and training in which nearly 1 / 3 of those are studying in British Columbia.
