Welcoming the delegation is Prof.Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan, President of VNU; Prof.Dr.Sc. Vu Minh Giang, Vice President of VNU. The content of the meeting is focusing on transfering the Institute for French Information (IFI) to VNU. At the meeting, Prof.Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan has confirmed that VNN will carry out necessary activities to receive and continue developing IFI to meet all the education and high-quality science research’s expectation. VNU supports AUF’s viewpoint, which is flexible in entrance recruitment, committed to ensuring high quality output and towards enhancing international student recruitment.     Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan has stressed that after receiving IFI, VNU will continue to expand training programs, attract international students, improve the quality of all activities on the basis of multi-disciplinary strength , multi-disciplinary, inter-linked and VNU's brands. Prof.Mai Trong Nhuan said that to ensure sustainability of training and research, IFI need to open more branches in other training. In addition, it is necessary to train staff to teach the Vietnamese to gradually replace international trainers.   According to Prof.Dr.Sc. Vu Minh Giang, the meeting has demonstrated a high sense of responsibility in receiving IFI, VNU has been actively building regulations and training programs as well as the personnel needed for IFI. In particular, Prof. Dr.Sc. Vu Minh Giang has emphasized that VNU will receive IFI and develop it to new level with the goal of becoming the French research institute leading Asia - Pacific.     Ms. Wanda Diebolt appreciates the efforts and responsibilities of VNU in the reception and development of IFI. Ms. Wanda Diebolt said that the AUF will continue to support IFI and conduct activities that is necessary to transfer the VNU IFI quickly and in an effective way.
