Attended the workshop were Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Đức – VNU President; Prof. Kazuhiko Takeuchi – Senior Vice Rector of the United Nations University; Prof.Dr. Mai Trọng Nhuận – Distinguished National Expert, Chairman of VNU Council for Quality Assurance as well as many scientists and lecturers.
According to Prof.Dr. Nguyễn Hữu Đức, VNU, as the leading university in Vietnam, is developing into a research-oriented university. The university always focuses on strengthening the international cooperation and highly appreciates the support and cooperation from Japan. VNU Vice President hoped for the continual support and further cooperation from Japan in other scientific fields in the coming time, not limited with this project.
This workshop was held to create a platform for the scientists participating in the project of the same name to share the research results obtained in the first phase, share their experiences as well as discuss with other Vietnamese specialists in the field so as to propose an appropriate strategy to enhance the resilience to climate and ecosystem changes in Vietnam
