Digital university learning materials
Statistically, VNU-LIC has set a record in digital learning resources (several times higher than 2019).
Total visits to the library in 2020: 18,069,013, increased by 50,5%, compared to 12,008,056 visits over the same period of 2019.

The VNU-LIC Institutional Repository climbed to 75th position globally and increased VNU’s international academic influence.
VNU has built a big data system of digital learning materials. By October 2020, VNU’s total digital resources for research and training, including types of digital data developed on technology platforms, had been as follows:
- VNU LIC Bookworm: Digital learning materials on mobile technology platform (Digital textbooks and reference books): ~ 55,000 titles(http://bookworm.lic.vnu.edu.vn/).
- Dspace: Digital theses, dissertations based on open institutional repository management technology ~ 31,000 titles; Results of scientific research projects: ~ 2,000.
- Foreign journals and e-books in online electronic databases: ~ 53,000 e-books; ~ 4,100 journals of science, including SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Bookboon, World Scientific, MathSciNet, etc.
- Virtual: Printed documents on the platform of automated library administration technology with ~ 114,000 titles; ~ 400 journal titles.
- The global academic big data system is connected and explored through the URD2 open access smart search system (connecting more than 90% of the free Open Access databases of universities worldwide).

160 smart classrooms at VNU are operating well, effectively supporting training and research. VNU thoroughly applies information and communication technology in all activities, builds integrated information systems, electronic portals, a system of Vietnamese - English bilingual websites according to international standards and infrastructure systems of information technology and communication, etc. Along with that, information technology is applied in depth in training activities, research and student affairs. Typically, the international student recruitment software contributes to promoting the image and activities of VNU's online international standard training programs; a single point of contact is used to support international students to study and exchange knowledge at VNU. VNU Student Support Centre officially launched App Mobile VNU.CSS at Me Tri dormitory and Ngoai ngu dormitory. This software helps improve interaction between students and the Dormitory Management Board and provide additional services and utilities for students such as room registration, updating records, online payment, etc. through the Web and App Mobile platform
