APhO 2019 features two medalists from VNU University of Science High School for Gifted Students
The 20th Asian Physics Olympiad (APhO 2019), held in Australia from May 5 to May 13, 2019, attracted participants from 22 countries and territories. All the eight Vietnamese participants won prizes including 2 silver medals, 5 bronze medals and an honourable mention. Among the prize-winners, Nguyen Xuan Ung and Nguyen Xuan Tan, 12th graders from VNU University of Science High School for Gifted Students won a silver medal and a bronze medal, respectively.  (15/05/2019)

VNU University of Science alumnus becomes the first female winner of Ta Quang Buu Award
Among the three main award-winning scientists in 2019, there was a female scientist with excellent publications in Group Q1 journals on the prestigious ISI journal list.
