Admission software for international student to VNU
With the aim of attracting more international students to VNU, VNU has assigned the Center for Applied Information Technology and Department of Academic Affairs to design a software for international student’s enrollment at http://admissions.vnu.edu.vn/, which has been run since 15 June, 2018.  (25/06/2018)

[Video] Expanding cooperation with Srilanka
As a part of cooperation activities between VNU University of Economics and Business (UEB) and Kelaniya University, the University has opened the short course titled “Multinational companies and Investment environment in Vietnam” for 93 MBA learners and 13 lecturers from Kelaniya University. QS World University Rankings 2018: Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) listed among the world’s top 1,000 universities for the first time
On June 6, 2018, Quacquarelli Symonds World University Rankings (QS) announced the ranking of the world’s top 1,000 universities. Eighty-five out of the 197 participating countries were named, among which Vietnam made its first appearance with two representatives: Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU). Ranked by criterion, VNU was featured in the world’s Top 500 according to its employer reputation and faculty/student ratio.  (12/06/2018)

The Ministry of Science and Technology has recently announced the 2018 Ta Quang Buu Award winners. The Ta Quang Buu major category Award will be given to two scientists, Dr. Trần Đình Phong from Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phạm Văn Hùng from Ho Chi Minh City International University.  (22/05/2018)
The 2018 Vietnam Annual Economic Report: Understanding the labour market for productivity enhancement
On May 8, 2018, VNU University of Economics and Business in collaboration with Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FNF) held a conference to launch the 2018 Vietnam Annual Economic Report. As reported at the conference, Vietnam economic growth in 2017 was 6.81%, surpassing the target of 6.7% set by the National Assembly, thanks to the unusually high growth of Q3 and Q4 (7.46% and 7.65% respectively).  (22/05/2018)
