11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:

(1) Identify the theoretical issues of human rights protection mechanism, including two components:  institutional, subjects and necessary legal procedures for those subjects's activities. Institutional consists of views, thoughts, and human rights protection legal system. The Subject is a system of agencies, organizations and individuals with the order and procedures to protect human rights. The thesis also studies some factors affecting and ensuring for the mechanism to protect human rights is effectively.

(2) Research to find the characteristics of human rights protection mechanisms in Nordic countries in historical, political, cultural context and the relations with Europe, international cooperation. This mechanism to protect human rights and operate on the basis of traditional values, respect the objective laws of the free market economy, accumulate wealth for society, combine with the culture of knowledge, science, honest moral quality, high prestige on society, the trust between people and authorities associated with rule of law but not heavy on criminal sanctions. However, this mechanism also has certain limitations.

(3) Overview of the current status of human rights protection mechanism in Vietnam, on comparing with Northern European countries to find nine experiences and the ability to apply those experiences in Vietnam. Accordingly, some experience can be applied immediately in the current period and some experiences need to be applied step by step in accordance with the accumulation and development of society, that is accordancely

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The dissertation has nine experiences from five the Nordic countries and its applicability is as follows: (1) Research  to apply directly international treaties on human rights with a certain limit in Vietnam, in the next period, because of the need to accumulate more experience. (2) Recognizing to the value of communication in social monitoring and criticism ... but it is necessary to avoid its possible unfortunate side. (3) Special attention and promotion of education for all individuals in society. (4) Recognizing academics, knowledge and the role of scientists, upholding individual roles, combined with building an honest, trusting and human rights culture. (5) Civil and political rights groups should be taken into account compared to the group of economic, social and cultural rights as a premise for the implementation of economic, social and cultural rights in the social accumulation is not high. (6) Establishing Ombudsman to promote the role, reputation and personal prestige in supervising and ensuring cleanly government. (7) Vietnam should establish a national human rights agency (NHRI) but it must be realistic. (8) Emphasize the role of Administrative Courts - overseeing subjects have violating human rights is the most likely. (9) The pioneering, decision role of judicial and judicial authorities in constitutional protection, protection of human rights - does not necessarily  to established constitute a constitutional protection court.

13. Further research directions, if any: The research results of the thesis are premise to continue studying human rights issues in specialized and intensive fields such as: Research mechanisms to protect human rights in the activities of the National Assembly, in the field of justice, administration, in the field of labor, business, trade or research on improving the effectiveness of the implementation of the law public officials, authorities, judicial reforms; or ethics and responsibilities of state agencies and authorities in public service implementation, ....
