11. Summary of the new finding of the thesis:

- First: The dissertation provides a way to visualize the basic and universal characteristics of Marxist methodology in how to receive and orient that method in the field of Vietnamese criticism in the period 1945- 1975.

- Second: The thesis with the commentary materials has outlined and explained the journey of appearance, intrusion and become orthodox, mainstream of Marxist methodology in research and literary criticism.

- Third: A visualization of the process of asserting the unique presence and profound dominance of the Marxist methodology in Vietnamese literature research and criticism in the period 1945-1975 was also introduced. Accordingly, the dissertation seeks important bases which emphasize the historical and ideological context with the dominance of Marxist methodology in criticism and study of Vietnamese literature in the period 1945-1975. and provide objective explanations of the contributions, advantages and limitations of this methodology in a very special historical period of the country.

- Studying the method of Marxist methodology into Vietnam in the period before the August 1945 revolution.

- Studying Marxist criticism trends in Southern Vietnam literature from 1955-1975.
