11. Summary of the new findings of the dissertation:

First: The thesis has systematically reviewed research orientations on tourism resources, tourism in Thanh Hoa province; providing theoretical basis for follow-up research on tourism resources towards approach area studies and multidisciplinary to be applied in Thanh Hoa province.

Second: To determine characteristics, spatial differentiation and changes over time of basic resources (Material, Man, Money, Machines and Mechanisms) for tourism development in Thanh Hoa province.

Third: The thesis has analyzed the role and assessed the impacts of resources for  tourism development in 03 sites where case studies were conducted: Sam Son City, World Cultural Heritage Site of the Ho Dynasty, and Phu Luong Nature Reserve.

Final: Policy implications and solutions have been proposed in order to effectively use each type of resources, combining all the resources for tourism development in Thanh Hoa province.

12. Applicability:

- The thesis provides related agencies with valuable references data, contributing to better understanding of the characteristics and roles of each tourism resource, serving for the future planning and the management of tourism development in Thanh Hoa province.

- The thesis also suggests in-depth comparative studies on, resources for tourism development in other localities of country.

- Conduct research and survey resources for tourism development in tourist in areas, tourist destinations in Thanh Hoa province and evaluate the effective and sustainable use of resources.
