An application of the governing principle of dissipative processes to eigenvalue problem of hydro-thermodynamics
Gyarmati's principle is applied to study the temperature distribution of the fluid flow in a pipe, due to sudden change in wall temperature. It is found that the approximate results obtained in the paper are quite close to the exact ones and the dual field method is quite fit for the case of eigenvalue problem of hydro-thermodynamics. © 1989 Akadémiai Kiadó.
