Vo Hoang Hai, a 10th grader from VNU HUS High School for Gifted Students won gold medal at the International Physics Olympiad 2022 (IPhO 2022). Hai has become the first 10th grader of Vietnam to have participated in such a contest and won the gold medal.
IMO 2022: VNU HUS High School for Gifted Students contestants win two gold medals
All six Vietnamese high-school students competing at the 2022 International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO) secured medals, with two golds, two silvers, and two bronzes. The results placed Việt Nam in 4th position out of the 104 teams participating in the competition, behind China, the Republic of Korea, and the United States.

The project has contributed to spread the message and raise the awareness about the pressing need to foster creativity and innovation in education; to create a positive movement in teaching innovation and breakthroughs in training quality at VNU; to instill the spirit and embed the culture of innovation across VNU and beyond, to a wider education system.
