At the seminar, presentations were made on Technology-based Environmental Sustainability Development, and SME development and innovation in Vietnam.
In the current context, economic integration and minimizing effects of climate change had become a global focus, Prof. Nhuan said, which required not only the involvement of excellent scientists and engineers but also a comprehensive approach and high technology. The seminar created the good chance for Vietnamese scientists, VNU staff and students to discuss and share experience in attempt to find a new and more effective way for sustainable development. Also, the seminar contributed to tighten the cooperation between VNU and UQ – one of the leading comprehensive research universities in Australia.
