VNU School of Medicine and Pharmacy and Dankook University: Cooperation in Odonto-Stomatology Training
On February 20, 2017, VNU School of Medicine and Pharmacy and Odonto-Stomatology Department, Dankook University Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology (Korea) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Odonto-Stomatology training and research.

VNU Vice President Nguyễn Hữu Đức attended the signing ceremony.

According to the memorandum, the two sides will cooperate in training and research activities including developing and jointly training undergraduates and graduates in Odonto-Stomatology studies; conducting joint research programs to produce major research products; exchanging information, training and research experience, Odonto-Stomatology development strategy in general and in Medicine and Pharmacy in particular.

According to VNU Vice President Nguyễn Hữu Đức, human resources development must be the focus of VNU School of Medicine and Pharmacy’s development strategy. Therefore, expanding cooperation in training and research with foreign partners is essential; especially, in the context of launching the first Odonto-Stomatology program in 2017.

The Memorandum of Cooperation between VNU and Dankook University is an important event not only in increasing the two universities’ resources but also in promoting the application of research results in Odonto-Stomatology in particular and in Medicine and Pharmacy in general, to life.

Mr. Kim Chul Hwan – Dean of Dankook University Odonto-Stomatology Department, highly appreciated its cooperation with VNU – a leading university in Vietnam. He said that Dankook University would give priority to joint Odonto-Stomatology doctors training with VNU School of Medicine and Pharmacy and promote staff and students exchange as well as provide scholarships for VNU young staff and students. He hoped for expanding the current cooperation to other fields to contribute to the development of Vietnam and Korea.
