Vietnam: National high school graduation exam 2020 postponed until early August
The Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam (MoET) has officially announced the latest adjustment to the 2019 - 2020 Academic year timeline.

Due to complicated developments of Covid–19 pandemic, MoET sent an urgent official dispatch to chairpersons of the municipal and provincial People's Committees across the country regarding the newly adjusted 2019 - 2020 academic year timeline. Specifically, the timeline has been adjusted as follows:

-           School year ends no later than July 15, 2020;

-           National high school graduation exam is administered from August 08 to 11, 2020.

Based on the revised timeline, chairpersons of the municipal and provincial People’s Committees nationwide will decide when to resume schooling, depending on the actual situation of Covid-19 in each locality.

Furthermore, MoET requests chairpersons of the municipal and provincial People’s Committees nationwide to direct its departments of Education and Training to streamline the curriculum according to the ministry’s guideline, provide students with televised and online lessons, revise knowledge and test to recognize students’ academic performance when they are back to school.
