The National Assembly approved VNU President Nguyen Kim Son’s appointment as Education and Training Minister
On April 8, 2021, the National Assembly adopted a resolution approving the Prime Minister’s proposal to appoint VNU President Nguyen Kim Son as Minister of Education and Training.

 

Full name: Nguyen Kim Son

Born in 1966 in Tan Trao commune, Kien Thuy district, Hai Phong city

Officially admitted to the Party in 2000

Qualification

- Bachelor of Vietnamese Language & Linguistics, the University of Hanoi

- Doctor of Vietnamese Literature, the University of Hanoi

- Research Fellow at Harvard-Yenching Institute, USA

- Appointed as Associate Professor in 2005
