Scholarship opportunities for students of VNU International School

On June 23rd, 2021, VNU-IS hosted an online meeting with Mr. Tan Kheng Por (Senior Manager, Centre for International Programs), HELP University, Malaysia; as well as other colleagues from HELP.

Attending the meeting were representatives of VNU-IS from the Office of Research & Partnership Development and Office of Student Affairs.

At the meeting, representatives of both sides engaged in open discussion on the scholarships plan for students of the Dual degree program in Marketing. Apart from the VNUIS - HELP Presidential Scholarship and Student Ambassador Scholarship for students with excellent academic performance, the HELP Xperience Scholarship will be offered starting from next academic year, giving students the opportunity to travel to Malaysia during summer semester for cultural and academic exchange.

In addition, the parties discussed the costs and expenses for the 6th semester of the Dual degree program in Marketing, in which students will travel to study at HELP. Through the discussion, both sides have reached a consensus on the cost estimation details to be announced to prospective students of the program so they can be financially well-prepared for their studies ahead.

Since its establishment in 1986, HELP has grown steadily and continuously. It has sustained student enrollment and ensured a robust financial position. HELP has distinguished itself by excelling as a thought leader, an incubator of outstanding graduates, a model of selective excellence, and as a community-caring institution. The drivers of its vision are based on “Pride Of Achievement, Sharing Success, The Courage to Be, To Be Compassionate, and To be Significant”. It has over 500 staff and lecturers, and 12,000 students, including 2,000 international students from 92 countries.

It is hoped that in 2021, VNU-IS and HELP will strengthen their cooperation and development which brings about fruitful result.
